Pouncing on Chicago (Part 4)

We’d had an amazing time staying with Rocket and Reddy, and we packed so much into every day – whether out in the city sightseeing, or gearing up for some fun, or watching Rocket play ice hockey (or attempting to ice skate myself!). They’d even organised a rubbery get together – a dozen or so of us geared up for a party, and everyone there was really great and friendly to me and Rubberwulf, and despite my nerves at meeting so many new people (as well as finally meeting certain people – *cough*Boundinrubber*cough* :P), it was certainly an awesome night to remember!

But as with everything that’s great, time decides to go far too quickly. The final full day in Chicago arrived, as much as I wanted it not to. Rocket, the wulf and I headed off to Rubberfreak’s place one last time. He’d recently bought “something” – something I knew about, but he was kind enough to let us surprise the wulf with – a set of Segufix restraints…

After restraining and ever so slightly breaking the rubberised wulf, it was time for my first ever Segufix experience…

This is what I would've seen reflected in the ceiling mirror - if I had've been able to see! Such a horny way to end an amazing trip - thank you so much Rubberfreak for letting me and the wulf test them ;)

The next day arrived – the day we’d be leaving the place we’d both fallen in love with. I always find saying goodbye hard, but this time it felt even worse. Everything had just been so right, and the people so amazing to us that the thought of being 4,000 miles away again was too hard to even think about.

Even now, over a week and a half since we got back, I still feel kind of “lost”. I know it’ll pass, and we’ll be back there one day, but I’ve found it hard to let go of. I’ve got some amazing memories to keep with me though, as well as some awesome friends both in the UK and the US, and that makes it easier.

Thank you so much to Rocket and Reddy for having us to stay, as well as Rubberfreak and RubberRodent and everyone else for making me and the wulf feel so welcome, and for making this trip one of the best things I’ve ever done :)
